This isn't just any home, it's the tranquil sanctuary of a self-made, entrepreneurial powerhouse who has carved a remarkable path in the business world. Rising from humble beginnings, she craved a space that would echo her strength, tenacity, and unexpected charm, while offering a haven from her bustling professional life.
Our journey with her began with a total gut renovation of the property, embarking on a mission to include her personality in every corner of her home. The design directive was clear: create an interior that is neutral yet warm, bright yet cozy, and fashion-forward for her extensive social media following. Keeping these prerequisites in mind, we weaved in a harmonious blend of comfort and luxury throughout her entire space. The material and finish selections were strategic and bespoke, playing a significant role in setting the right tone for her.
Our design approach wasn't just attentive to her desires and necessities; it was also all-inclusive, warmly inviting her cherished canine sidekick into the process. By testing and intentionally distressing samples, we made sure to incorporate pet-friendly elements into the design. This collaborative process of choosing materials, with a dash of adorable paw approval, quickly became the highlight and the favorite of our creative journey.
Lighting, another key aspect of our design, was thoughtfully customized to create a unique ambiance for each space and mood she desired. The furniture wasn’t just selected; it was purposefully designed and tailor-made, taking into account her preferences, lifestyle, and the functional needs of each piece. Taking a previously idle corner of the dining room, we reimagined it into a moody wine cellar. This savvy transformation created a space with a cozy and inviting, perfect for both unwinding and intimate gatherings. It's a brilliant showcase of how practical design can breathe new life into any room.
In the primary suite, a custom-made bed, headboard, wall paneling, and entertainment unit unit beautifully counterbalance the stunning lake views. This primary suite serves as more than a place to sleep; it’s her personal oasis for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation to take on her high-powered reality. Strategic social media vignettes were interspersed throughout her home, catering to her online presence. These spaces are designed for impromptu catch-ups with her followers, each set against a visually pleasing backdrop. The vision was to create a place where she could not only live but thrive. From the moment she wakes up, stepping onto the plush custom carpet, and enjoys her first sip of morning coffee to her evening retreats amidst the breathtaking lake views, this home is a testament to that vision.
